CDR value chain

Full CDR value chain

Carbonaide offers a full carbon credit value chain, in addition to the delivery of mineralization technology to concrete manufacturers. We make carbon removal easy, transparent, and verifiable, so that concrete manufacturers can focus on making concrete, while we take care of everything else.

CO₂ capture and transportation

Carbonaide sources biogenic CO2 from biogas plants. Captured and liquefied CO2 is transported to the storage facility in ISO tanks where it is transfered in the stationary CO2 tank connected to the process module and curing chambers.

Storage via mineralization

CO2 chemically bound within concrete remains stored for >1000 years. Carbonate minerals are thermodynamically stable and will not be released back into the atmosphere, even if the concrete is demolished and recycled under current regulations and standards.

Certification

Carbonaide’s Service Platform is a cloud-based software solution that measures, manages and optimizes the usage and flow of CO₂ in the process. Mineralization volumes based on real time gas measurements in each production batch are compiled and sent for verification and certification.

CDR sale

CDR credits are available directly to corporate buyers via Carbonaide and are also offered through our marketplace partners.

We are offering CDR credits from existing factories and are also looking for catalytic pre-purchase commitments from future factories.

Our storage locations

Carbonaide’s CO₂ mineralization technology is fully integrated in Lakka precast factory in Joensuu, Finland, and Lipa Betoni is in the process of integrating our technology.

We are ready to scale with new concrete factories interested in adopting Carbonaide’s technology and becoming a storage partner.

The built environment can become a carbon sink with permanent storage and carbon credits that make an impact!
